cAmPiNg... Okay...i am back from the 3 day 2 night camp at pulau ubin and i am very very tired...i really enjoyed myself and the camp was so so much better than what i had expected before...the camp was on a separate part of the island, away from the town centre...there was a lagoon in the middle of the campsite and there were chalets and swimming pool and jacuzzi...and it was a beautiful scenery...and it is a pity that the whole class was not able to be there at the camp... The first day, we were separated into tents and all 7 boys had to squeeze into 1 tent and it was squeezy but we managed to pull through both the nights...our tent collapsed in the day while we were doing activities during the day and we had to redo everything at night while everybody else was having their free time...we had a lot of things going on so it will be very long... HIGH ELEMENTS: i think that this is the first station that our class went to after building our tents and it was super duper fun even though it was very scary...it may be about 2 or 3 storeys high and it was quite tiring to go up the steps if u do not have upper body strength...so i did it and it was very windy up there...i did the section where we had to cross a very wobbly wood ladder...but it was all worth it... HIGH WALL: this is the one activity that i did not complete as i fell and hurt myself at my knee which have already been injured before the camp...i feel twice on my bum but the impact was ouch...i cried coz it was so painful...very embarrasing leh...sorry you guys for letting you guys down...my classmates were very concerned and cheered for me when i got back from the first aid room...i love you guys... NIGHT WALK: i have been dreading the night walk all along but it was not as scary as i had imagined it to be...it was okay and was not so bad after all...we had to respect the nature okay...and we could see the person walking in front of us...but sadly, yong guang who went after me cannot see me as i was wearing a dark coloured shirt so he can't see me...and did not manage to see anything out of the norm... Second day was okay and everyone did not sleep and were so noisy and i kept waking up from time to time, each time the wind blows...but nothing scary okay...it was squashy but it was ok...benjamin slept the most soundliest and he even snored... RAFTING: i love this activity the most...everyone in our group worked together to make our raft and our raft was very solid...unfortunately, it was heavier at one side and me, shun zi, lee chuang, kenny and denise fell overboard and was wet all over...but this is what you people call experience and looking back, it was all quite hilarious and it added a bit of spice to our camp life...we were all also shouting coz its just for the heck of it...and we manage to get across the lagoon...even though we did not win, we had fun...congrats izzat and 3r4...no hard feelings... ROCK CLIMBING/AB-SAILING: unfortunately, i did not get to try this because we had to give priority to those people who did not do the high elements...i did not mind doing this coz we have to give everyone a chance to try everything...the thing was quite high up so i was still quite scared... UBIN EXPLORATION: this is oklah coz we did not have time so we did not walk far...but we still manage to look at the quarry and it was majestic/magnificent/wonderful/beautiful and everything nice and it was really an eye appetiser... CAMPFIRE: this is fun and our group name is rojak...we did a cheer and a dance and it was fun going up and performing in front...we were all very sporting so i love this class man...then we were under 'Q' and he was very loud... Apparently, i am tired saying about everything but i will be doing all the chees in the next post...till next time, i still hate you bitch... |
