Today got home early coz its the eve of the nation's birthday...YAWN...watched a video done by RJC students on whats the use of national day parade...and they show through the video clip that singaporeans celebrate it the wrong way...meaning they don't know the significance of it or some sort because it is drowned by all the costumes and fireworks...so it becomes just an extravaganza...and a bit of it is like propaganda...

So whatever...we had FIESTA 2007 just now...quite so-so only...its time for the sec 2s' to set up stalls...did it last year and it was super fun...had loads of fun with 2r6 last year...but this year, everythings' the same and there's no variety...and the stuff they sell is like there's no input for it...and the space is small...then there's this performing bands in the quadrangle...it was hot(the weather literally) and they started out late...and the voices were drowned by the oh-so-loud guitar sound...so was quite excited when we all heard there will be bands jamming but then, it turned out like when you splash cold water over your body...only the anticipation was building up...

Then there's the record balloon flag...i totally forgot about it...i was in the library for some air-con and it totally slipped off my mind...so there's not gonna be any pics for the big flag balloon...urgh...but then, i was in the library waiting to go back to class...but then there's also a mini-concert...only 3 items...BORING...the usual concert band "YMCA", a poetry read by mdm nooraini and 2 chinese teachers singing karaoke...

Bought a bluberry muffin on the way home...yummy...and maybe i'm going out later to get this halal portugese pie from somewhere...and after all those excitement, i will come back to reality: THE COMMON TESTS ARE NEXT WEEK.
