book

So, I'm done reading this book and I must say, it's a really nice book, even though it doesn't have the sense of suspense and thriller that one would have hoped from a book about adoption and kidnapping. It just seems to be too perfect. 2 brothers - the one older by 5 years was borned to an unwed mother of age 16 and was later given up for adoption. Younger brother found himself stuck to the mother who became depressed. Years later, younger brother found older brother and wanted to be part of his life. Unfortunately, older brother was not too sure so younger brother sort of took older brother's son away on a camping trip. The background of the story was about drugs and jail time and vices.

I guess, for me, by the middle of the story, I kind of knew the direction of where the story is going to be going at. Although there are some redeeming qualities like the writer's ability to make you feel that you're going through what the character is going through, but at the end of the day, it just doesn't give you that oomph factor. Plus, this book does not make me feel sad approaching the last chapter. An excellent book always makes me feel that way.

BTW ,

I am super freaking excite for tomorrow that I could just pee in my pants. PROM is going to be tomorrow baybeh! Like finally, tomorrow night is going to finally be the night where I really have graduated from secondary school. After all those hectic shopping sprees and what-nots, finally, everyone would be able to be and look their best on prom night:)
