I can't help but somehow, feel happy today. Well, in a way that is. Nothing bad has happened today - yet. Plus I'm alone at home since parents are working/ going to wedding. Anyhows, first good news when I woke up today is that I'm going to get me a new pair of spectacles. The silver-rimmed + blue spectacles that I used to wear broke into 2 when I wanted to wear them last week. So, I've been having a bit of a headache since not wearing the spectacles but I can somehow still see. That first day was bad because I was somehow squinting and my eyes were all watery. So, the new spectacles will be ordered after the exams and I'm getting 1/2 price for it. Reason being my sister bought the transition "freaking-expensive-cost-$500" glasses and they decided that if she wanted to make a second pair, it's going to be half-price. Anyways, I don't think I'm getting the transition lenses since my mom will scream at me if that one were to break.

Ok, so the second reason that I'm happy today is somehow connected to the videos below. It's a collection by Sonia Rykiel for Fall/Winter 08 and somehow, it just made me feel happy. From the clothes and the colour, I just feel like it's so bubbly and happy and like out of this world. I used to overlook her collections each time I browse through certain websites but not anymore. Her clothes tell a story and they're whimsical. Granted it's female clothes but still, it's very light and airy and it made me happy looking at it. It's supposed to be worn right now in the western countries since they have winter but I've yet to see anyone wear it and post it up anywhere. It's so bright and colourful that it sucks all the solemn-ness of winter, if there's such a word. I want those gloves in the first picture man. They're so hot even if it's damn hot here. No pun intended.
