interesting or just plain weird

I was reading the TODAY newspaper yesterday night and I came upon the "quirky world" section. Anyhows, can you imagine introducing yourself, let's say to a job interviewer, as "
CAPTAIN FANTASTIC FASTER THAN SUPERMAN SPIDERMAN BATMAN WOLVERINE THE HULK AND THE FLASH COMBINED". And it's not a joke, it's a real name. Imagine when you have to write it down when you're about to sit for your exams, on all 8 pages of the answer paper. That must have been a lot of fun. Supposedly, this person was bored of his conventional name - George Garratt - and decided to change it so that he can be unique. I think freak should have been the word to describe him when he decided to change his name to that of superheroes combined. Ingenius I must say? Or is it plain stupidity? God knows how his children are going to adress him. Papa Wolverine or Mr Hulk? Would he even get any girl with that weird name? Maybe those who are freaks like him most likely.
And, some genius person at Oxford University(dreams ^.^) has managed to compile a list of most annoying and irritating phrases. Seriously? There's 10 of it apparently. So, if you want to annoy people, use all of these 10 phrases concurrently when you talk to someone.
- Absolutely
- I, personally
- It's a nightmare
- At this moment in time
- Shouldn't of
- 24/7
- With all due respect
- Fairly unique
- At the end of the day
- It's not rocket science
Example from The Daily Telegraph: Absolutely, I, personally, think it's a nightmare! At this moment in time,he shouldn't of to go to work 24/7. With all due respect, his job is fairly unique, but at the end of the day, it's not rocket science. If you really want to annoy people, use it all the time.
