retail therapy Does anyone realise that the holidays just zoomed past us that quickly? I seriously cannot believe that in 12 hours, I'll know which junior college I'm going to be posted to, and in less than 4 days, I'll be at my new school, or shall I say, college. Somehow, I don't miss secondary school, but I'm nervous about entering a new environment. I guess I have to be a little bit more sociable, and not make my angry(normal) face all the time. You know, sometimes, people disappoint you, and there's nothing you can do about it, except for some retail therapy, which I undertook just now. I have a feeling in JC, I need to find friends that aren't so selfish and dumb(what a combination!!), because if not, I'll have to undergo retail therapy every week. Anyways, I practically took the mrt all over singapore just now. First it was to Orchard Road, and then to Vivocity, and then to Heartland Mall, and then to Compass Point, and lastly to Hougang Mall. I seriously think I cannot bring a lot of money with me all the time, otherwise I would have the tendency to spend it all, buying things which are not in my list of "stuff to buy". I hate shopping for shoes, because most of the time, you won't feel comfortable with the new shoes, and whats more with the salesperson hovering above and around you. Anyways, I went to 3 different outlets, and ended up buying my sports shoe/school shoes from Royal Sporting House. Along with the shoes, I also bought a new water bottle, just for the sake of buying it. Since there was a promotion, I ended up having a 10% discount on my buys. I also got a new wallet, and although I didn't get the Guy Laroche wallet which I had initially wanted, I'm quite happy with my new Goldlion wallet. It costs like $95, which is like 3 times more expensive than my normal MYUK wallet. My heart was beating super fast when I paid the cashier. As Amanda says, "heart very pain!" I also bought a Club Marc long pants, which I thought were a steal, even though I don't really know when I would be wearing them. They are white, and informal, and the only place that I could think of wearing it to is the beach, and I don't think I'll ever have the time to go to one since school is starting very, very soon. Truth be told, I only bought it on impulse since the price was watered down to $39.90, while the original price was $129.90. Now, all I need is that Marc Jacobs shoe. Hopefully, by June, I'll be able to get them, although by then, I think that design would no longer be available since Fall/Winter 09 collection would take over the current Spring/Summer 09 collection. Whatever, since I always prefer Fall's dark collection, as compared to Spring's summery collection, I'm sure I would be able to find something I like then. And finally, cycle 12 girls of ANTM are finally revealed and freaking god, they're crap. I usually start liking girls at the start, and then choose to hate them later on, but this cycle, I hate all of them from the start. Guess I'll have to tune in to change my opinions. |
